The Top Pub’s Publican is a well known Australian author for ‘Just One Reason‘ book is now in more than a dozen countries and widely used at all levels of Mental Health in Australia. 1000’s of families sing praises of this little power house book that saves lives 24/7.

Throughout the pub there are subtle mental health messages. Our staff are kind, compassionate people with skills to hold space for anyone needing a safe chat.

Internally we have created areas to rest and feel safe without any obligation to spend money. Externally we have a hotel room available for accommodation in crisis events free of charge.

Your hosts menu items are all based around home style meals that are easily prepared in a short period of time and incredibly delicious. In creating this menu we have been able to pass these cooking efficiencies directly to you our customer with very affordable prices.

Susi, your Swiss host brings the favourite part of her culture to Deepwater. Socialising over home cooked meals is a big thing in Switzerland. Our pasta night in the Longroom on Friday nights is designed to get people together and leave with newly formed friendships.

Our combined love of food, hosting dinner parties, trivia nights, large gatherings of friends and family underpins our energy to share all this with you just like a visitor in our home.

As thrifty travellers we know the little things can make a big difference to customer experiences. For example all our rooms have hot water bottles and electric blankets for our cold winter nights. If you’re feeling a little chilly feel free to borrow one of our Just One Reason scarfs.

Discreetly in our logo is a yellow ribbon. This is our acknowledgment to all persons who have served our country and have experienced Mental Health issues.
